A friend here in town introduced me to this hike. It’s an old wagon trail that was created to get from Hubbard Springs VA to Cranks, KY with the “hole” having been blasted through the rocky ledge and with great vistas from on top.
It’s 4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of about 1,000 feet.
There’s not a lot of information about this trail available online unfortunately. It’s a hike I’ve done multiple times tho and it’s great because it’s only about 15-20 minutes from my house. I just wish people would stop spray painting stuff on the rocks. People have no respect.
