The Franklin Car Museum is a great little place to visit while you’re in Tucson, Arizona. The H.H. Franklin Manufacturing Company of Syracuse, NY built America’s most successful air-cooled automobile, from 1902-1934. Of the 150,000 Franklins built, it’s estimated that about 3,700 have survived.
Perched on a bluff overlooking the stunning Puget Sound is Ebey’s Landing, located on Whidbey Island in Washington. This hike is near Fort Ebey State Park but, not connected to it, and if you go early in the season, it’s awash with wildflowers.
