Since work has kept me pretty much pinned to the computer, I haven’t done much exploring lately – but there’s always time for RV improvements!
It was definitely time to get rid of the original cheap plastic sink and corroding, squeaky faucet in the bathroom. I’d been looking at a new sink and faucet from Ikea but their shipping costs are usually astronomical (and the closest store is 6 hours away) – but they had a deal Memorial Weekend and I only had to pay $9 shipping via FedEx!
The original sink had a bowed front panel on the cabinet so, until I find something cool, I put some printed fabric there to hide the pipes.
The countertop is also from Ikea and while I’m not overly fond of the grey (the only color available) I think it’ll do for now… at least until I feel the need to redo my redos. lol
The other nice thing is that I don’t have to bend over quite so far to use the sink! I think they decided to go with “short” for those families with children. *cack
